1/2teaspoonred pepper flakes

8ouncestomato sauce
1cupsharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1cupPepper Jack cheese, shredded
11.6ounces5” empanada dough (such as Goya)
Egg Wash
1large egg
1tablespoonwater
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Cook ground beef, onion, jalapeno, and seasonings in a skillet. Add garlic and tomato sauce.
Whisk together egg and water in a small bowl for egg wash.
Fill empanada dough rounds with cheese, meat mixture, and more cheese. Fold, seal, and crimp edges with a fork.
