Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions until al dente.
In a mixing bowl, combine the marinara sauce, heavy cream, minced garlic, and fresh spinach for a creamy blend.
Drain the tortellini and toss it in the sauce mixture until well coated.
Baking
Transfer the tortellini and sauce mixture into a baking dish, then sprinkle generously with mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Once done, remove from the oven, sprinkle with Parmesan, and dig in!
Continue baking as necessary until the center is hot and the edges are bubbling. If the topping browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil.
Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Tips for a better bake: Warm dairy gently and stir until smooth. Keep the pasta slightly firm before baking and reserve some cheese for the topping. Cook watery vegetables before assembly to avoid excess moisture.
