  • 2 cans 2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
  • 1 box 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup butter, cut into slices

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread the two cans of apple pie filling evenly across the bottom.
  • Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the apple filling, making sure to cover it evenly.
  • Distribute the sliced butter on top of the cake mix.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra indulgent experience, serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. You can also add a sprinkle of cinnamon for an added spice kick. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
