$300 Candy: Sweet and Crunchy Graham Cracker Delight

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick / 113 g
  • 1 cup granulated sugar 200 g
  • ½ cup evaporated milk 126 g
  • 10 regular marshmallows or 1 ¼ cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs 84 g (about 7-8 graham cracker sheets, crushed)
  • 1 cup chopped salted peanuts 146 g
  • ½ cup confectioners' sugar(for rolling) 62.5 g

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Boil the Mixture: In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, sugar, and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Boil for six minutes.
  • Add Marshmallows: Remove from heat. Add marshmallows and stir until fully dissolved.
  • Combine with Dry Ingredients: Mix in graham cracker crumbs and chopped nuts.
  • Cool the Mixture: Let the mixture cool in the saucepan for 15-20 minutes until manageable.
  • Shape the Candies: Scoop out the mixture with a one-tablespoon scoop onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  • Chill: Chill the candies in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until firm.
  • Roll in Confectioners' Sugar: Once chilled, roll each candy into a ball and then coat with confectioners' sugar.
