Ingredients
  

Steak with Garlic Herb Butter

  • 2 steaks (rib-eye, strip steak or T-bone, 1 inch thick)
  • Kosher salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions
 

  • Remove steaks from the fridge 20-30 minutes before cooking to bring them to room temperature. Season steaks on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Make herb butter by combining the ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Grease the air fryer basket or pan with non-stick cooking spray and add steaks. Cook for 4 minutes, then flip, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until desired doneness.
  • Rest the steaks on a plate and cover with foil to rest for 5-10 minutes. Add a spoonful of herb butter on top of each warm steak before serving.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, you can sprinkle additional fresh herbs over the steak before serving.
