  • 6 large large eggs For hard boiling

Instructions

Preparation

  • Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of water and bringing it to a boil. Let them boil for 9-12 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to cool them down quickly.
  • Once cooled, peel the eggs and chop them into small pieces.

Mixing

  • In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, and your secret ingredient.
  • Add the chopped eggs, diced celery, diced red onion, paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  • Mix everything together until well combined.

Serving

  • Serve on bread, over lettuce, or enjoy it plain.

Notes

For perfectly hard-boiled eggs, start with older eggs rather than fresh ones; they peel much easier! Experiment with the secret ingredient; adding chopped pickles or relish can provide a delightful zing. If you prefer a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
