Ingredients

Pizza Base Ingredients

  • 1 large Pizza crust Store-bought or homemade
  • 6 slices Crispy bacon Cooked until crispy
  • 1 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese (mozzarella or a cheese blend)

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Red onions Thinly sliced, optional
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Fresh, optional for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to the pizza crust package instructions.
  • Roll out the pizza crust on a floured surface and transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  • Spread a generous amount of barbecue sauce over the crust.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly on top of the sauce.
  • Distribute crispy bacon pieces over the cheese.
  • If desired, add thinly sliced red onions.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for the time recommended on the crust package, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro, if using.
  • Let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve.

Notes

Serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side for dipping. Pair with a salad or veggies for a wholesome meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
