How to Make Sweet and Sour Sauce

  • Mix sugar, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, and soy sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Whisk cornstarch and water in a separate bowl until smooth.
  • Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the base ingredients, stirring continuously.
  • Cook and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
