Brownie Base
1/2cupunsalted butter
5ozdark chocolate, chopped
1 1/4cupsgranulated sugar
2largeeggs
1tspvanilla extract
3/4cupall-purpose flour
1tbspcocoa powder
1/4tspsalt
Topping
1cupwhipping cream
1tbsppowdered sugar
20cherries, pitted & sliced
1/4cupchocolate chips, melted
Instructions
Brownie Base
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and line a square baking pan.
Melt the butter and dark chocolate together. Let it cool slightly.
Whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 20-25 minutes. Let it cool completely.
Topping
In a large bowl, beat the whipping cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread over the cooled brownies.
Top with sliced cherries. Drizzle melted chocolate over the cherries.
