Ingredients
  

Salmon

  • 4 6 oz portions salmon fillets
  • Blackening seasoning
  • Avocado or olive oil
  • Fresh lemon

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick sauté pan over medium heat.
  • Season the skin side of the salmon with blackening seasoning.
  • Once the pan and oil are hot, gently add the salmon, skin side down. Season the top with blackening seasoning and cook for about 3 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  • Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 2 minutes or until done to your liking. Cooking time will vary depending on the size and thickness of the salmon fillets.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon, then remove it from the pan. Let it rest for 2 minutes before serving.
