Ingredients
  

Waffle Batter

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk plus more if necessary
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries plus more to top

Cinnamon Streusel

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter cubed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Vanilla Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix oil, eggs, milk separately. Combine wet and dry, fold in blueberries.
  • Cut together flour, sugar, butter, and cinnamon. Bake until browned.
  • Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in the streusel bowl.
  • Cook waffle batter in iron until golden. Top with streusel, more blueberries, and glaze. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of lemon zest to the vanilla glaze.
