Ingredients

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons butter Melt over low heat
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Gently folded in

For the vanilla glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk Adjust for thickness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and mix in the Rice Krispies cereal until all pieces are well coated.
  • Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, ensuring not to crush them.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan, pressing down firmly to create an even layer.

Glaze preparation and serving

  • In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth to create the glaze.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the cooled Rice Krispies treats.
  • Allow the treats to set, then cut them into squares and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 to 5 days. Avoid refrigeration to maintain texture. Garnish with extra blueberries or powdered sugar if desired.
