  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Can substitute with olive oil
  • 240 ml hot water Hot but not boiling
  • to taste Salt Adjust according to preference

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, vegetable oil, and salt together until well combined.
  • Gradually add the hot water, stirring as you go, until you achieve a smooth dough.
  • Knead the dough for a few minutes until it's soft and smooth.
  • Shape the dough into small rolls or flatbreads as desired.
  • Cook in the oven or on a skillet until golden brown.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months. Experiment with different flours and add herbs or spices for extra flavor.
