  • 1 cup mini marshmallows Use fresh for best results.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds extra flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the dulce de leche until well combined.
  • Add the mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  • Fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
  • Press the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch pan.
  • Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serve.

Notes

To keep fresh, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Refrigerating may result in a firmer texture. Consider garnishing with a sprinkle of sea salt or a drizzle of additional dulce de leche before serving.
