  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • chopped green onions for garnish (optional) Can be added for garnishing before serving.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your air fryer.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss the wings until they are evenly coated.

Cooking

  • For oven baking, spread the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy.
  • For air-frying, cook at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven or air fryer and let cool slightly.

Serving

  • Garnish with chopped green onions if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

These wings are best served hot and fresh. Pair them with ranch or blue cheese dressing, along with celery and carrot sticks.
