  • 2 cups cooked elbow noodles
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp buffalo sauce Adjust according to spice preference
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Freshly shredded for best results
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter

Preparation

  • Begin by putting a small saucepan on medium-low heat. Melt the butter and cook the minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the heavy cream and bring it to a low simmer.
  • Slowly add the cheddar cheese while continuously stirring until it melts and forms a creamy sauce.
  • Pour in the buffalo sauce and stir until well combined.
  • In a casserole dish, add the cooked elbow noodles and shredded chicken.
  • Pour the creamy sauce over the noodles and chicken, and give it a good stir to combine everything evenly.
  • Top with additional cheddar cheese and drizzle with extra buffalo sauce if desired.
  • Bake in the oven at 400 degrees F for about 8 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Serve hot out of the oven for best experience. Pairs well with a side salad or crunchy celery sticks. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
