  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 3/4 cup butterscotch chips

  • Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Line an 8 x 8 inch pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  • Whisk melted butter and brown sugar in a medium bowl until combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mix well.
  • Fold in the flour and salt, then stir in the butterscotch chips.
  • Pour the batter into the lined pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until set.
  • Let the blondies cool in the pan for at least 1 hour, then slice into bars.
