  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns

Instructions

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and green bell pepper, and sauté until softened.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Stir in the ground chicken, cooking until browned.
  • Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, followed by the diced tomatoes and chicken broth.
  • Simmer for 10-15 minutes, letting the mixture thicken.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the mixture on hamburger buns and top with optional toppings if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze the chicken mixture for up to three months. Adjust spice and experiment with toppings for personal preference.
