Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup milk at room temperature
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, melt the butter and stir in the minced garlic.
  • Combine the melted butter mixture with the flour mixture, then add the shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and milk. Mix until just combined—be careful not to overmix!

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
