Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract Enhances the flavor.
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Add a pinch to the cheesecake mixture.
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice Enhances flavor and prevents browning.

For the topping

  • 1/2 cup Graham cracker crumbs Adds texture and flavor.
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted Helps bind the graham cracker topping.
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon For added flavor in the topping.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Wash and core the apples, leaving the bottom intact to create a well for the filling.
  • In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of cinnamon until smooth.
  • Fill each apple with the cheesecake mixture, pressing down gently to ensure it’s well-packed.
  • In a separate bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  • Top each stuffed apple with the graham cracker mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  • Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish and drizzle with lemon juice.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the apples are tender and the cheesecake filling is set.
  • Let the apples cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For serving, consider adding whipped cream, ice cream, caramel sauce, extra cinnamon, or fresh berries. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
