Ingredients

For the bread

  • 1 package (16 oz) pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For brushing on top

For the filling

  • 1/2 lb cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped

For the cheese

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For seasoning

  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For dipping

  • 1 cup Marinara sauce Optional for serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  • Spread the cooked sausage, pepperoni, bell pepper, and red onion evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll the dough tightly, sealing the edges, and place it seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  • Brush olive oil over the top of the bread.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Serving

  • Serve hot and fresh out of the oven with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack for added flavor. Mix in other toppings such as mushrooms or olives. For a vegetarian option, skip the meats and add more vegetables.
