1packagerefrigerated pizza dough
1cupshredded mozzarella cheese
1/2cupricotta cheese
1/2cupItalian sausage, cooked and crumbled(optional)
1/2cuppepperoni slices(optional)
1/4cupdiced bell peppers
1/4cupsliced black olives
1teaspoondried oregano
1teaspoongarlic powder
to tasteSalt and pepper

Preparation
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thick.
In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, cooked sausage, pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cut the rolled-out dough into squares of about 4 inches by 4 inches.
Place a generous tablespoon of the cheese mixture in the center of each square.
Fold the dough over to create a pocket, pressing the edges to seal. If desired, crimp the edges with a fork for a decorative touch.
Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of each pocket for a golden finish.
Baking
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Feel free to experiment with different fillings. For extra flavor, sprinkle some Italian seasoning on top before baking. If using frozen dough, ensure it has thawed completely before rolling it out.
