Ingredients

For the poppers

  • 2 cups Shredded chicken Cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning For flavoring
  • 2 tablespoons Jalapeños, diced Adjust based on spice preference
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Or a crispy coating for the poppers

For the creamy dip

  • 1 cup Cream cheese Or sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Ranch seasoning For flavoring the dip

Optional garnish

  • to taste Fresh herbs For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together shredded chicken, sharp cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, and diced jalapeños until well combined.
  • Scoop a small amount of the mixture and shape it into balls or popper shapes.
  • Roll each popper in breadcrumbs or your chosen crispy coating.
  • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese or sour cream with additional ranch seasoning to create the creamy dip.
  • Serve the poppers hot with the dip on the side.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use almond flour instead of breadcrumbs. Customize the filling with diced bell peppers, corn, or bacon.
