  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese Plus extra shavings for garnish.

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, sliced Optional.
  • 1 piece lemon wedges Optional, for serving.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Place cooked chicken in a medium bowl and shred or chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  • Add Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan, Dijon (if using), garlic powder, and black pepper to the chicken. Stir until evenly coated and adjust salt or pepper to taste.
  • Slice each croissant in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on plates.
  • Divide the chopped romaine among the bottom croissants to create a moisture barrier.
  • Evenly distribute the chicken Caesar mixture over the lettuce. Add sliced cherry tomatoes if desired.
  • Top with the croissant halves and garnish with extra Parmesan shavings and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For substitutions, use leftover roasted chicken, Greek yogurt-based Caesar dressing, or gluten-free croissants. Assemble just before serving to avoid sogginess.
