Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chicken, shredded Ensure thoroughly cooked and shredded.
  • 1 cup Rice, cooked
  • 2 tbsp Chicken Broth Opt for low-sodium broth.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Combine your shredded chicken and cooked rice in a large mixing bowl until well mixed. This should take about 2 minutes.
  • Test the mixture's consistency. If it's too dry, slowly add chicken broth one tablespoon at a time until it holds shape when pressed. This should take about 1-2 minutes.
  • Shape your healthy dog treats into small, uniform 1-inch balls or patties, which will take around 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the shaped treats on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each treat. This will only take a minute.

Baking

  • Bake your homemade treats at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until they develop a slightly crispy exterior.
  • Let your fresh dog treats cool completely before serving or storing.
