  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add sliced chicken and cook until browned.
  • Add onions and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  • Stir in mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stirring to combine.
  • Gradually add chicken broth, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  • Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve over egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Notes

For better flavor, consider marinating the sliced chicken in a bit of sour cream or yogurt for at least 30 minutes before cooking. You may add peas or fresh spinach before serving for extra color and nutrition.
