  • 3 large eggs
  • 115 grams unsalted butter
  • 200 grams dark chocolate (45-70% cocoa), broken into pieces
  • 70 grams plain flour or all-purpose flour
  • 20 grams cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Zest of 3 medium-sized oranges
  • 75 grams Terry's Chocolate Orange, roughly chopped

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) standard / 160°C (320°F) fan-forced. Grease and line an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • Whisk sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
  • Melt butter and dark chocolate in the microwave, then add to the egg mixture and whisk until smooth.
  • Stir in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and orange zest. Mix gently until a smooth batter forms. Add chocolate orange chunks.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until set.
  • Cool brownies in the pan, then cut into squares. Store at room temperature, in the fridge, or freeze for later.

For an intense orange flavor, consider adding a splash of orange extract to the batter.
