  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek yogurt For creaminess

  • 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon Adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds Can be substituted with ground flaxseed or omitted
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

Optional Toppings

  • 1/4 cup Additional Greek yogurt For serving
  • 1 tbsp Icing sugar For sweetness
  • 1 splash Milk To adjust yogurt consistency
  • 1 tsp Extra cinnamon For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, add rolled oats, chia seeds, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
  • Pour in unsweetened almond milk, plain Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Transfer the mixture into individual jars or containers with lids. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the oats to soften and flavors to meld.

Optional Topping Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together plain Greek yogurt, icing sugar, and a splash of milk until smooth. Adjust consistency as desired.

Serving

  • Before serving, stir the oats and top with the prepared yogurt mixture and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy cold or warm as preferred.

Notes

These overnight oats can be stored in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days. For best results, keep the toppings separate until you are ready to serve to maintain their texture and freshness. For creamier oats, increase the amount of Greek yogurt or almond milk. You can also try using oat milk or coconut milk for different flavors.
