Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
Stir in the melted butter.
Mix in the baking soda and salt.
Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined.
Cinnamon Mixture
In a small bowl, combine the ground cinnamon and brown sugar.
Assembly and Baking
Pour half of the banana batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture on top, then pour the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
Swirl the batter with a knife to create a marbled effect.
