Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, then stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese with the egg and mix until smooth.
Assembly
In a baking dish, start layering: place a layer of noodles, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture, then add the meat sauce, and top with a sprinkle of mozzarella.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of mozzarella and a sprinkle of parmesan on top.
Baking
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Continue baking as necessary until the center is hot and the edges are bubbling. If the topping browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil.
Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Warm dairy gently and stir until smooth. Reserve some cheese for topping. Serve with a crisp green salad or steamed vegetables.
