  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese Freshly shredded is recommended for best melting.
  • 1 cup cream cheese Ensure it's at room temperature for easier blending.
  • 1/2 cup milk Adjust to reach desired creaminess.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Used to thicken the cheese mixture.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a blender, combine the cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and milk.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Add the cornstarch and blend again until well mixed.
  • Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool before using.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Freeze in individual portions for longer storage.
