  • 2 teaspoons Dry onion powder To deepen savory flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For aromatic balance.
  • Black pepper To taste.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Soften the cream cheese until spreadable.
  • Stir in dry chives, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Lay all salami slices flat on a clean cutting board.
  • Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto each salami slice and spread evenly.
  • Roll each slice tightly from one end, enclosing the filling.
  • Secure rolls with toothpicks.
  • Garnish toothpicks with optional green olives or pickles.
  • Arrange on a platter and serve immediately, or chill for up to 2 hours.

Notes

Use reduced-fat cream cheese for a lighter option; fresh chives can be used instead, apply approximately 2 tablespoons. For spice, try peppered salami or a few dashes of hot sauce in the filling.
