Dill Pickle Pasta Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups short pasta about 375 grams
  • ½ cup sweet dill pickle juice, divided
  • cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons freshly chopped dill
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese cubes about 90g
  • ¾ cup sliced dill pickles

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Pasta: Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and toss with ¼ cup pickle juice in a large glass bowl. Let it cool completely.
  • Prepare the Dressing: Whisk together mayonnaise, ¼ cup pickle juice, fresh dill, sour cream, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  • Combine Ingredients: Once the pasta is cooled, mix it with the dressing, cheese cubes, and sliced pickles. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  • Chill: Chill the salad before serving.
