Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 500 g chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying

For the Vegetables

  • 1 piece bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 piece onion, sliced
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

For Flavoring

  • 2-3 tablespoons chili paste adjust based on spice preference
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • to taste Salt
  • to garnish Green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, marinate the diced chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until it starts to brown.
  • Add sliced bell pepper and onion, cooking until soft.
  • Stir in garlic, ginger, and chili paste, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add sugar and salt to taste, mixing well.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Adjust the amount of chili paste for spice preference. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 2-3 days in the refrigerator.
