Easter Jell-O Pie

Ingredients

Pie Base and Jell-O Layers

  • 1 pre-made crust 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 3 oz 1 (3 oz) box lemon Jell-O You can substitute with any preferred flavor of Jell-O.
  • 3 oz 1 (3 oz) box grape Jell-O Ensure to dissolve properly.
  • 3 oz 1 (3 oz) box berry blue Jell-O
  • 3 cups 3 cups boiling water (1 cup per Jell-O flavor) Boil water as required for flavor.
  • 3 cups 3 cups cold water (1 cup per Jell-O flavor) Room temperature water helps in faster dissolving.

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 oz 8 oz cream cheese, softened Use low-fat cream cheese for a lighter option.

Instructions

Prepare Jell-O Layers

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the lemon Jell-O with 1 cup of boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water. Pour into the graham cracker crust and refrigerate until set.
  • Repeat the process for grape Jell-O in a separate bowl and pour it over the set lemon layer. Refrigerate until set.
  • Finally, repeat with the berry blue Jell-O and pour it over the grape layer. Refrigerate until completely set.

Add Cream Cheese Layer

  • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Once the Jell-O is set, spread the cream cheese layer on top.
  • Chill the pie for a few additional hours before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator, covered tightly. Best enjoyed within 3-4 days. You can also experiment with different flavor combinations of Jell-O.
