Easy Apple Coleslaw

Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 2 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • 1 apple, diced

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the green cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, and diced apple.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until well combined.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added crunch, consider including nuts such as walnuts or pecans. Experiment with different types of apples for varying sweetness and flavors. If you prefer a lighter version, swap out the mayonnaise for Greek yogurt or a vinaigrette.
