Ingredients

Fruits

  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced Ensure bananas are ripe but not overly ripe.
  • 1 can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

Cake Mix Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix (butter or yellow) Can experiment with chocolate or vanilla cake mixes.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Topping Ingredients

  • 2 cups whipped cream Homemade whipped cream can enhance flavor.
  • Optional: chocolate syrup for drizzling Enhances presentation and flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a greased baking dish, layer the sliced bananas, pineapple chunks, and strawberries.
  • Evenly sprinkle the cake mix over the fruit layers.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes or until the cake is golden and set.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.

Serving

  • Top with whipped cream, fresh fruit, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup if desired.

Notes
