Ingredients

Cheese Ball Base

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts You can substitute with almonds or peanuts.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until well blended.
  • Shape the mixture into a ball.
  • Roll the ball in the chopped nuts until fully coated.
  • Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.

Serving

  • Serve with crackers or fresh veggies.

Notes

Customize the cheese ball by adding spices, herbs, or different types of cheese. Store tightly wrapped in the refrigerator for 5 to 7 days or freeze for later use.
