  • 6 large large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional) Optional vegetables to add.
  • 1/2 cup diced onions (optional) Optional vegetables to add.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  • Stir in the cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, and if desired, the bell peppers and onions.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served warm. Can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven.
