Ingredients

For the dough

  • 2 cups Wheat flour For dough

For the filling

  • 4 Eggs Beaten
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 Green chilies Finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

For frying

  • 1 tbsp Oil For frying

Instructions

Preparation

  • Make a soft dough with wheat flour, water, and a pinch of salt. Rest for 15 minutes.
  • Beat the eggs in a bowl, adding onions, green chilies, cumin powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a frying pan. Place the rolled paratha on it and cook for a minute.
  • Pour a portion of the egg mixture on the partially cooked side and spread evenly.
  • Flip the paratha and cook the egg side until done.

Serving

  • Serve hot with yogurt or chutney.

Notes

Serve Egg Paratha hot, accompanied by yogurt, mint chutney, or pickles. To store, cool completely and place in an airtight container; they can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for longer.
