Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • In a separate bowl, combine cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
  • Add yogurt and gently fold until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Cooking

  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let it cool before serving.

Notes

This cake can be enjoyed plain, with a dusting of powdered sugar, or topped with fresh fruit, honey, or whipped cream. It can also be frozen for up to three months.
