Instructions
Preparing the Dough
In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.
Mixing the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, and kosher salt. Gradually add the flour and the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
Kneading the Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes or until smooth.
First Rise
Place the kneaded dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Assembly
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Once risen, press the dough onto a greased baking sheet to form a rectangle.
Topping the Bread
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, fresh parsley, and kosher salt. Brush this mixture evenly over the dough. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses on top.
Final Rise
Let the assembled dough rest for another 20 minutes while the oven heats.
Baking
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and cheesy.
Serving
Allow the bread to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days or refrigerate for a week. For longer storage, freeze for three months. To reheat, warm in the oven for a few minutes.
