  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey Honey can be substituted for a different flavor.
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch salt Pinch of salt

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
  • Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Mix in melted coconut oil, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract.
  • Stir in almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  • Pour the batter into your greased pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool and slice the brownies into squares to serve.

Notes

For an even fudgier texture, don’t over-mix the batter once you add the dry ingredients. Store in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
