Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs of chicken tenders, thighs, or breast
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

For the Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 8 to 8 10 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce adjust to taste
  • 2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup of fresh parsley, minced

For the Chicken Seasonings

  • 2 teaspoons of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper

Instructions
 

Prep and Skewer Chicken:

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  • Mix the chicken seasonings in a small bowl.
  • Cut the chicken into 3-inch pieces, toss with olive oil and spices.
  • Thread the chicken onto the skewers tightly, with no space in between.

Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce:

  • Heat butter and garlic until the butter is partially melted.
  • Stir in red pepper flakes, hot sauce, parsley, and parmesan cheese until well combined.

Cook the Chicken:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cook skewers for 5 minutes, flip, then baste with sauce and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Flip again, baste with more sauce, and cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (about 5-6 more minutes).
