Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers
- 2 lbs of chicken tenders, thighs, or breast
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
For the Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce
- 1 stick of butter
- 8 to 8 10 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon of hot sauce adjust to taste
- 2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup of fresh parsley, minced
For the Chicken Seasonings
- 2 teaspoons of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
Prep and Skewer Chicken:
Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
Mix the chicken seasonings in a small bowl.
Cut the chicken into 3-inch pieces, toss with olive oil and spices.
Thread the chicken onto the skewers tightly, with no space in between.
Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce:
Heat butter and garlic until the butter is partially melted.
Stir in red pepper flakes, hot sauce, parsley, and parmesan cheese until well combined.
Cook the Chicken:
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cook skewers for 5 minutes, flip, then baste with sauce and cook for 2 more minutes.
Flip again, baste with more sauce, and cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (about 5-6 more minutes).
