Ingredients

For the crust

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted

For the filling

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream

For the topping

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preparation of the crust

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  • Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a pie pan to form the crust.
  • Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.

Preparation of the filling

  • In another bowl, beat peanut butter and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  • Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until well combined.
  • Spread the peanut butter filling into the cooled pie crust.

Topping the pie

  • Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Drizzle melted chocolate over the peanut butter filling.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Make sure the crust is fully cooled before adding the filling to avoid melting the whipped cream. For a more intense chocolate flavor, consider using dark chocolate chips. Add chopped peanuts or crushed Reese's pieces on top for a crunchy texture.
