Giant Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Pie

Ingredients

For the crust

  • 1.5 cups 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cups 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the filling

  • 1 cup 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup 1 cup heavy cream Chilled for best results

For the topping

  • 1 cup 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Can substitute with dark chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cups 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a pie pan.
  • Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.

Filling

  • In another bowl, combine peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold it into the peanut butter mixture.
  • Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled pie crust and spread it evenly.

Topping

  • Melt chocolate chips with milk in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the pie.

Chill and Serve

  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

This pie is best served chilled. Pair it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra special touch. Keep in mind can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
