Instructions
Activation
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Allow this mixture to sit for about 5 minutes, or until it becomes frothy.
Preparation of Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add the frothy yeast mixture and olive oil.
Stir until a sticky dough starts to form.
Kneading
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it for 8-10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Adding Flavor
Gently fold in finely chopped garlic and fresh rosemary to incorporate these aromatic ingredients.
First Rise
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm environment until it doubles in size, approximately 1 hour.
Baking
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Divide the dough into muffin tin portions and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
Bake the muffins for 20-25 minutes, or until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
Notes
