Ingredients

Muffin Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Rosemary, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1.5 cups Warm Water Temperature around 110°F (43°C)
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar

Instructions

Activation

  • In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Allow this mixture to sit for about 5 minutes, or until it becomes frothy.

Preparation of Dough

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add the frothy yeast mixture and olive oil.
  • Stir until a sticky dough starts to form.

Kneading

  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it for 8-10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Adding Flavor

  • Gently fold in finely chopped garlic and fresh rosemary to incorporate these aromatic ingredients.

First Rise

  • Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm environment until it doubles in size, approximately 1 hour.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Divide the dough into muffin tin portions and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
  • Bake the muffins for 20-25 minutes, or until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
