Golden Grahams S'mores Bars

Delightful no-bake treats that capture the essence of classic campfire s'mores in a delicious dessert with layers of marshmallows, crunchy cereal, and rich chocolate.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 16 ounces bag of marshmallows
  • 5 1/2 cups Golden Grahams cereal
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate, roughly chopped Hershey's bars work great
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows for folding into the bars

Instructions

Preparation

  • Grease a 9 x 9 pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the regular marshmallows and a pinch of salt. Stir with a rubber spatula, scraping down the sides to ensure the marshmallows do not burn.
  • As soon as the marshmallows are melted, remove from heat immediately.
  • In a large bowl, add the Golden Grahams cereal and pour the marshmallow mixture over the cereal, using a rubber spatula to fold everything together.
  • Stir in the chocolate and mini marshmallows until evenly distributed.
  • Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan, pressing down into an even layer.
  • Place in the fridge to set for at least 20 minutes.
  • Once set, use a sharp knife to cut the s'mores bars into 12 rectangles.

Notes

Serve chilled or at room temperature. Pair with ice cream for an extra special treat. Drizzle melted chocolate or caramel for a festive touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or refrigerate and freeze for longer storage.
