  • 2 medium Hass avocados (peeled and pitted)
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1-2 tsp finely chopped chili peppers (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp finely ground sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (or red pepper flakes)
  • Dried parsley (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, use a fork to mash the avocados with lemon juice, chopped chili peppers (if using), garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne until creamy with some small avocado pieces. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate the guacamole, covered with plastic wrap, until ready to use. It stays fresh for up to 4 days.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding chopped tomatoes, onions, or cilantro to your guacamole.
