Ingredients

Pasta and Base

  • 8 oz pasta (like rotini or penne) Use your favorite type of pasta.
  • 1 can (5 oz) albacore tuna, drained Use canned tuna for convenience.

Creamy Mixture

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt For creaminess and tang.
  • 1/2 cup diced celery Adds crunch.
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion For flavor.
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish For sweetness.
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice For acidity.

Seasoning and Garnish

  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to preference.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional) Adds color and freshness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and rinse it under cold water to cool.
  • In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, Greek yogurt, diced celery, red onion, pickle relish, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  • Add the cooled pasta to the tuna mixture and stir until combined, making sure every piece of pasta is coated.
  • Season with salt and pepper to your taste.
  • If desired, garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
  • Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. You can freeze the salad, but the texture may change when thawing.
